Guess What: Missy Elliott didn't know about Aaliyah album?!

There wasn't an Aaliyah song that came out that was not in someway associated with her close friends Missy Elliott and Timbaland. But since these posthumous album rumors began, with Drake as the ring leader, Missy says she "Had no clue there was one" she tweets "No one told me..."

Can this be?! An Aaliyah album without their assistance, if there was anyone who's participation should've been included it was those two! Though we haven't heard from Timbo, we wonder if Drake is really going to go about this album without reaching out to the two.

I know many of us remain hopeful for this album, but I'm against its making without Missy & Tims say!

Kanye West writes about his "Perfect Bitch"

Kanye West is professing his love for Kim Kardashian on a new song. The rapper has dedicated “Perfect Bitch” to the current love of his life.

According to the New York Daily News, the 35-year-old previewed new music while partying at PH-D Rooftop Lounge in New York City over the weekend. The material consisted of unreleased tracks from the upcoming G.O.O.D. Music compilation Cruel Summer and one indirectly referencing Kim Kardashian and ex-girlfriend Amber Rose titled “Perfect Bitch.”

A source described the music as “a similar production style [to the one] he used on his wildly successful album with Jay-Z last summer, Watch the Throne.”

On “Perfect Bitch,” he raps about finding the perfect woman, with a number of references to Kardashian and Rose. The song reportedly uses the same melody from “Carmina Burana,” a 1937 composition by German musician Carl Orff. Nas and Diddy also sampled the song on their 1999 hit “Hate Me Now.”

Amidst the speculation, Kanye confirmed that the song was about his curvaceous girlfriend, tweeting, “I wrote the song Perfect Bitch about Kim.”

In addition to Cruel Summer, due September 4, Yeezy has been in the studio working on the follow-up to 2010’s critically-acclaimed My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.

The Rapper & his Perfect Bitch star in a new MTV promo commercial for the 2012 VMA's with comedian Kevin Hart. Check it out below:

Azealia Banks may be turning over a new cheek!

Earlier this year, you may remember 1'o Azealia Banks twitter beefs were with West Coast rapper Kreayshawn. Most memorable of that twitter spat was Azealia telling Kreayshawn this:

“You’re a dumb bitch. And you can’t rap. I’ll sit on your face. … Fall back slut,”

Well the mermaid rapper proved she was capable of being humble by sending this apologetic tweet to Kreayshawn:

“@KREAYSHAWN I apologize for coming down on you so hard earlier this year, I missunderstood that pornhub rt. I can be really defensive sometimes. I’m just naturally rude. LMFAOO it’s a NY thing… I can’t help it.”

Kreayshawn accepted the apology, complimented her music and then a collabo somehow was proposed between the two! Now that's what we like to see - Team Players in Hip-Hop because it doesn't just have to be 1 woman on top at a time!

Food For Thought: How great would it be for Kim to Tweet-Pologize to Nicki?

Drake goes back to High School.

The YMCMB rapper Drake, will be going back to High School this summer to get his diploma. He wasn't lying when he said "seeing my family have it all took away that desire for diplomas on the wall." But no worries, he won't be kept in class too long cause he's only missing one credit!

Before he hits the books though, he will be hitting the stage being the Headlining act at the next OVO fest!

Guess What: Beyonce to Direct and Star in Documentary.

Is there something that Beyonce has NOT done? I don't think so & now she will be directing and starring in a documentary about her life. The normally private superstar is going to be putting together a film that will give the public & her fans a glimpse into the life of Beyonce Knowles.

I'm all for it because i dont know about ya'll but I would love to see what her marriage to Jay-Z is like & how she's doing as a new mom. What I don't want is for this to go into theatres as a 3D movie *side eye* yeah Katy Perry & Justin Bieber!

Azealia Banks declines to tour with Nicki Minaj.

Trouble making rapper Azealia Banks has been making big news lately. She recently released her EP "Fantasea" & was recently made the face of a new Alexander Wang campaign!

She tweeted the other day that she was invited to tour the UK with Nicki Minaj in the Fall. Azealia wanted had to decline the offer because she would be recording her debut album 'Broke with Expensive taste' around that time.

I guess that's believable and not just her being shady. Though it would've been a huge good look for her.
