Recently hiphop artist Frank Ocean made a revelation to the world on his tumblr in a letter that unveiled his homo/bisexulaity. This set the web ablaze with discussions regarding the industries point of view on the matter in 2012, how does it affect an artist, & what would happen to Franks music after this. Well, as proven by the release of his album "Channel Orange" a week earlier than its scheduled release date, the revelation has done nothing to his music and it continues to be great.
Many have chimed in and lent their support to Frank and encouraged his move. Ne-Yo is the latest to make a comment regarding the matter and had this to say:
“To each his own, if that’s how he rock, that’s how he rock, you know what I mean. It don’t change the fact that his music is incredible. It don’t change the fact that he’s an incredible artist. He chose to put his personal life out there, and that’s him. I don’t fault people for who they are, if that’s really who you are, you know what I mean. If that’s really who you are then by all means do what you do. I’m not gonna judge you behind that. That’s not my place."
Interesting coming from a man who's had his fair share of gay rumors. Either way, Ne-Yo has a point when he says its not his place to judge him. On a sidebar, how many would love a collabo between these two?!
